On February 27, 2008 the Boston Red Sox will make a trip to Washington D.C. for a Ceremony at the White House. It is a ceremony celebrating the 2007 World Series Champion Red Sox. This is the second trip for the Red Sox in 4 years.
This trip is also to help bring some joy to patients at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. They will be bringing the trophy for all the patients to see. This is a great opportunity to bring some happiness to the patients.

Adding Depth at First Base
On Feb, 1st. 2008 the Boston Red Sox added 1st baseman Sean Casey. Casey signed a one year deal worth $800.000. This addition will add depth behind starting 1st baseman Kevin Youkilis.
