Papelbon
Over the past few days I have been looking at picture from the Red Sox World Series Parade last october. It made me think about the dance that Papelbon did after winning. Here is a clip of it VQUZESHUF
Outfielders running thin
Over the past few days few of the Red Sox outfielders have gotten hurt. Jacoby Ellsbury was running to try and make a catch and injured his groin and has had to miss 2 games with the injury. Even with this injury J.D. Drew was hurt. He hurt his left quad. The Red Sox had to call up Brandon Moss to fill in. Even with him filling in the Red Sox do not have any outfielders on the bench in case they need a replacement. Hopefully the injuries heal soon.
Red Sox Win 2 in a Row
Today the Red Sox played Toronto Blue Jays again at 7:05. It was a pitchers duel again. The final outcome was 2-1 Red Sox. Jason Varitek drove in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth and Manny Rameriz scored. The Red Sox now have a 2 game win streak.

Mike Lowell Returns
Today 3rd baseman Mike Lowell was activated off the 15 day disabled list. This was very exciting news for the Red Sox. The World Series MVP was definately a missed member of the team. Even though Mike Lowell was on the DL he still was at a lot of the games in the dugout. He is a vocal part of the team and definately welcomed back.
Ending the 5 game slide
Over the last couple days the Boston Red Sox had been slumping. They lost
two games againist the Los Angles Angels. Then they got sweeped by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. This was not a good streak for the Red Sox.
Today the Redsox took on the Tornoto Blue Jays at home. It was a pitchers duel till the bottom of the ninth when Kevin Youkilis hit a walk off single. Youk drove in David Ortiz to score the single run in the game.
It was refreshing to see that the Red Sox could pull out of this slump.

Red Sox Vs. Yankees

This past weekend the Red Sox hosted the Yankees at Fenway Park. The weekend didn't start out as well as it ended for the Red Sox. In Friday nights game the Red Sox lost 4-1.
The weekend turned around after that though. On Saturday after Josh Beckett was sent to the mound and the Red Sox won 4-3. It was a great win because there was an extended delay for rain.
For the Sunday night game the Red Sox sent there Ace, Dice K, to the mound and received the win for the Sox. The final score was Red Sox 8; Yankees 5.
It was a great opening series for the Red Sox against the Yankees. Hopefully the Red Sox will continue winning the series. The Red Sox played great games this weekend and hopefully will continue VQUZESHUF

Josh Beckett Out for Japan
Pitcher Jost Beckett is not going on the trip with the Red Sox to Japan. The reason for him not going is because of Back Spasms for his start on March 8th against the Marlins. He will be staying in the US to continue to workout and hope to be ready for the start of the season. As of March 17th he was pitching without pain.
Today the Red Sox make the trip to Tokyo to start the season on March 25th and 26th against the Oakland A's.

Red Sox Trip to White House
On February 27, 2008 the Boston Red Sox will make a trip to Washington D.C. for a Ceremony at the White House. It is a ceremony celebrating the 2007 World Series Champion Red Sox. This is the second trip for the Red Sox in 4 years.
This trip is also to help bring some joy to patients at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. They will be bringing the trophy for all the patients to see. This is a great opportunity to bring some happiness to the patients.

2008 Redsox
This is my first blog but here it is.
This past year the Boston Redsox won there second World Series title in 4 years. This was a huge accomplishment for the team. The past year was very exciting for the fans as well.
As a very big fan I attended a lot of games. This season was a year that I will remember for the rest of my life. I got to attend so many games and it made this a season to remember.
Cant wait for the 2008 Season to begin!!!
